I am an experienced teacher and examination board examiner.
Married to a FTSE company chairman I have detailed insight into current business issues and will help students of all ages understand the fascinating world of business.
Prior to my teaching career I spent fifteen years in a wide range of businesses, working in marketing and product development both in the UK and abroad.

Tutoring Experience

I have been teaching for 20 years in a range of educational establishments (private, & state schools, sixth form and adult education colleges). At my last school inspection report my teaching has been singled out as an example of high quality teaching. I have been an examiner of GCSE and A Level Business Studies for the two biggest examination boards.

During my teaching career as a sixth form tutor and Head of Careers, I have developed knowledge of the requirements for University applications.

Tutoring Approach

After understanding the individual student's needs and learning style, I will develop with the student a personalised learning programme, and by encouraging them to use a range of techniques they will gain the confidence to manage typical case study material used for examinations.
