I am a 43 year old mum to 2 children. I have a teaching qualification in Art, metalwork and English. As well as teaching I am a successful Jewellery Designer and Silversmith. If you asked someone to describe me they would most probably say friendly, bubbly and approachable! Apparently I also have quite a calming influence.

Tutoring Experience

I have experience teaching from entry level, key stage 1,2,3,4 further education and adult learners. My most recent experience is at A and A2 level. I have taught individually on a one to one basis as well as in schools, colleges and adult learner environments.

Tutoring Approach

I have an holistic approach to teaching. The student is the centre of my teaching regardless of ability, age, experience etc adapting my approach accordingly. Every student matters and every educational journey is unique. I am extremely open minded and have a strong belief in creative, hands on teaching. Support and safeguarding is also paramount.
