Tutoring Approach

Teaching is much more than just knowing a subject. Many people are experienced professionals and musicians, they may even have a degree in the subject, but can they actually teach. Teaching is a special skill that requires specialist training and a great deal of experience. With a PGCE and over 20 years experience of teaching, I have the experience to be able to use the correct tools, teaching styles and exam technique to get the best outcomes for each student.

Initially I will have a meeting to discuss the aspirations and needs of each student and then go from there.

I have a full armoury of resources that focus predominantly on getting the student from A to B armed with the correct tools and confidence to walk into the exam and succeed.

Exam papers
Mark schemes
Model answers
