In the four months that our son worked with Lily ahead of his GCSE’s, he went from a predicted 7 to securing a 9 in Latin GCSE. That is a huge jump in a very limited time.

Lily quickly identified the areas that needed improving and focused the sessions in those areas. She provided excellent additional resources to those provided by his school and most importantly, she instilled into our son a genuine belief that he could achieve the top grade.

Lily is not only a brilliant tutor, inspiring our son with her passion for the subject - but a tutor who genuinely cares about her pupils. Evident from the good luck emails she sent our son the night before all his Latin exams and the night before Results Day.

We could not recommend Lily highly enough. Our son genuinely enjoyed his sessions with Lily and if you have a child that is determined to improve in the subject – Lily will ensure that they do.

Lily has been teaching my daughter GCSE Latin for a year. Being home-educated means we rely on all her teachers to guide her through the GCSE syllabi. Lily is always very organized, punctual, and caring. Her passion for all things classics is contagious, and it's amazing to see how much more confident my daughter is in Latin since Lily has started teaching her. Lily knows the syllabus inside out and has tailored it to my daughter's busy schedule. We cannot recommend her highly enough.

Lily has been a knowledgable and fabulous tutor, with an obvious amount of experience in teaching Classical Civilisation. Choosing an online tutor was a huge leap of faith, but we honestly couldn't have picked anyone better. She has given our daughter such a confidence boost in preparing for her A level exam and has definitely gone above and beyond in being supportive. Lily's lessons are well planned, with lots of detailed resources, she is also friendly, patient and approachable, my daughter very much enjoyed her lessons with Lily.

I'd highly recommend Lily. My daughter was starting a new school where she would be learning Latin for the first time. We found out from the school where my daughter had to get to in the Latin text book, and asked Lily to get Jasmine to that level. It was very successful. Lily was friendly and entertaining, and had plenty of fun games, videos and mnemonics to enrich the learning process. Lily and my daughter easily covered the ground before the start of term!

Lily has inspired confidence in my son with his GCSE Latin preparation. He has enjoyed his lessons with her, and seen continual improvements in his marks. As an accomplished academic and teacher, Lily is fully conversant with the Exams process.
