Business Related and Computer Studies / I.T. Lessons in Westhill

I am currently a student with extensive knowledge in the field, having worked in admin for years alongside a personal interest with technology. I have wanted to teach from a young age, but now, enthused by my recent placement, I am keen to get helping more people, passing on the knowledge I have through a fresh innovative perspective. I am embarking on my PGDE in teaching in the subject areas of Accountancy, Business and Administration in order to fulfil my passion. I am also PVG checked for working with children and vulnerable groups.

Tutoring Experience

My passion started when I participated in the BP Tutoring Scheme, this gave me a placement in an Aberdeenshire academy to help out in the classroom, allocated classes in the areas of Business, ICT and Administration. I find helping others learn beneficial and have since been invited back to the school out with the placement scheme to help out because of the strong rapport I had with the pupils I worked with. This, alongside my interest in teaching from a young age is what has encouraged me to start studying for my PGDE. Throughout my PGDE, I will have placement opportunities throughout the year to further my teaching experience before embarking on a full year placement during scholastic year 2019-20.
