My name is Leon and I provide tuition for maths and computer science to make these subjects easier to understand and fun to learn.
Using my experience in teaching and commercial application of these subjects, I am able to provide a more thorough perspective that extends beyond the academic scope of classroom teaching. By presenting context for how maths and computer science concepts are used in the real world, I am able to make these subjects easier to understand with a complete explanation for how they are used to solve problems that everyone can relate to.
Additionally, I have a thorough understanding of obstacles such as dyslexia that are problematic for traditional teaching methods. This knowledge allows me to present the concepts I teach in a format that avoids confusion created by technical language, written notation and code that's often associated with maths and computer science. After making concepts easier to understand, my students become more confident in their abilities from the first lesson - and progress to achieve their target grade in as little as 12 lessons.
I have taught maths and computing as a professional tutor and commercial trainer for over 10 years. My lessons can also be tailored to cover exam preparation for all major exam boards, including AQA, CEA, Edexcel, OCR and WJEC.

Designed specifically for people who have difficulty with maths and computer science, my lessons present concepts in a format that's easy to understand and practise. Each lesson is designed for you to achieve the following learning objectives:
With the help of digital learning tools that I have created, my lessons begin with a visual presentation explaining the focus topic. Your understanding of the demonstrated concept is then put into practice using an interactive exercise that you to experiment and express your understanding of the topic using on screen visual interactions.
Lesson exercises are designed specifically to develop your understanding of the focus topic without the confusion associated with written maths notation and programming code. My digital learning tools allow you to express your understanding through tap, drag and drop interactions using your laptop, tablet or smartphone. With my support and collaboration, each exercise challenges you to describe and refine your thinking process to solve a puzzle using the skills taught in the presentation.
Finally, every lesson concludes with a task that teaches you how to express the lesson's focus concept using traditional maths notation or programming code. This stage of the lesson prepares you with the ability to work with exam questions and other assessments that you are preparing for.
