Lee's Feedback

Speedy replies. Two sessions in, but so far very impressed! My son likes Lee & seems to be responding well to his sessions.

We asked Lee to help our son with his maths. He is in year 6 and lacks confidence and is also coming up to his SATs this summer. Although we've only had 2 sessions Lee immediately put our son at ease and has been full of praise and encouragement. He has given him maths games to do in between sessions which has our son has been happy to do and has kept things fun for him. Early days but so far very happy.

We have already seen a great improvement in Merryns maths. Her marks are going up at school and she seems to be enjoying her time with you very much. We are so pleased we decided to have a one to one tutor for Merryn. Thank you Lee, we think things are going really well.

Lee has been working with my six and nine year old children and is doing a great job in boosting their confidence in maths. Apparently, maths is now my six year olds number one favourite subject, and my nine year olds third favourite, a big improvement.

Lee communicates regularly with us to schedule sessions and sets additional tasks to be completed before the next session, which the children enjoy.

I can certainly recommend Lee.

Lee is a very motivating tutor: In a short period of time Lee gave our son confidence that he was capable and could do his maths & English to allow him to progress from where he was. Lee quickly worked out our son, he didn't let him off lightly, he was firm with him and fair, talking him through his barriers to learning and building his confidence. Our son liked Lee and was motivated in to wanting to do the homework that he had set after each lesson - unusual and amazing for our son! Being available during the school holidays has been a huge bonus in that it has maintained continuity on the basic subjects through the long break and allowed a more suitable pace of learning for our son that didn't overwhelm him with tutoring on top of a school day/week. We are all feeling more confident about starting the new school year and Lee has been a major part in that. When we asked our son a few weeks in to tutoring how he felt about working with Lee he said 'I'm enjoying it, not like when I ride my bike but enjoying it in a different way and its good'.

My 6 year old son really enjoys his lessons as the tutor gives him plenty of praise and encouragement.
