I am a teacher with 13 years of working in state schools. I have taught in all the primary year groups from nursery right up to year 6 and have gained a wealth of knowledge, experience and expertise from this. I have been tutoring for 6 years now and enjoy seeing the progress one to one tutoring brings. I like to see a child I am teaching really thrive in my lessons and in school. I like to instill confidence, high self esteem and a love of learning in my lessons.
I have taught in many different state and SEN schools in my 14 years as a primary school teacher. Currently, I am working in a school in Swindon as a year 4 class teacher, in my current school I have taught in nursery, year 1, year 2, year 4 and year 5. During my career, I have experience of teaching all year groups from nursery, reception, ks1 and ks2 up to year 6, including children with learning difficulties. Currently, I teach in a school for 2 days a week and am 'Mummy' to my little boy the rest of the time.
My approach is to instill confidence, high self esteem and a love for learning in the children I teach. I will plan each lesson tailored to your child in order to meet their needs and ability and support them to achieve their upmost potential.
