I am a French native-speaker passionate about languages, the importance to learn one and how fun and rewarding it can be!

I have experience in working as a French Language Assistant at a secondary school in Oxford, tutoring GCSE and A Level students for their oral exams.

I offer private tutoring to supplement the student's education at school. I love to be able to focus on the specific needs of each tutee and see them achieve great results and higher grades through our work together!

I have worked as a French Language Assistant at a secondary school in Oxford, tutoring GCSE and A Level students for their oral exams.
I have also taught French to primary school children and to university students in the USA. Furthermore, I worked with international students at the University of Oxford for six years.

Tutoring Approach

I specialise in developing and improving speaking skills and making a student's oracy more fluid and confident.

I tailor my sessions according to each student's needs and abilities, and make sure to keep the sessions lively, fun and interesting!
I make use of videos, podcasts, songs and choose topics that are relevant and interesting for my students.

For school-aged students, I initially establish what exam board they are sitting, in which area of the subject they feel they might benefit most from tutoring and through which methods they feel they learn best, and tailor the content of my sessions accordingly. I follow the curriculum and adapt my lessons to the topics covered at the students' school (e.g. where I live, hobbies, school, my family, etc.) and help them improve their grade by revising vocabulary, practicing each area of the speaking exam and revising important grammar points, so that they feel confident speaking in class and during exams.
