HI! My name's Kyle, I'm a very friendly and passionate tutor and I'm really excited to share my passion for Maths, Science, and Japanese as a private tutor. With my enthusiasm, flexible teaching approach and extensive knowledge, I find my students not only show great progression, but also really enjoy the subjects they're learning.

Tutoring Experience

I teach the full GCSE Math's curriculum up to A-level. My experience mostly involves teaching home schooled students in the area. These students showed great improvement and where they had limited experience sitting exams I was able to get them familiar with the exam structure and build their confidence in answering exam questions. Many of my students have gone on to achieve their ambitions.

I find that I have a real knack for bringing students out of their shell and building up their confidence in learning. I also have a very good understanding of different learning difficulties such as Dyslexia, ADHD and autism, and how to engage with these students.

I lived in Japan for 2 years which is where I learnt Japanese and I am a confident in tutoring the language to those wanting to learn.

Tutoring Approach

I've found that all my students have had varied needs and and learning styles. I thus adapt my lessons to meet my students needs and specific learning styles.
With this tailored approach I am able to teach students at a level and pace they are comfortable with.

I also make sure that my students fully understand a concept before getting them to practice and consolidate it through practice questions. I find that this really helps students fully develop and internalize their understanding of any given subject.
