Hello my name is Kish and I am 22 years old. I am a recent graduate in Human Biology with a 1st Class BSc. I am a qualified Primary School teacher as I have received my PGCE with QTS. I am happy to travel up to 15 miles from my home and I can teach in the evenings and at any time during the weekends.
Currently, I have began working as a full-time class teacher in Year 4. I have been teaching consistently at various different schools during my training year, which means that I am fully aware of the curriculum for primary teaching and how it is taught. I have taught Year 6 for the majority of my training, where I have helped them prepare for their SATS. I have more recently started a placement in reception, where I have started teaching the key foundations of learning. Therefore, I have taught in two completely different settings with the same expectation of helping students progress to the next stage of their learning. For the past year I have been a supply teacher where again, I have been lucky enough to teach a number of different students and use various strategies to help them progress in their learning.
I have been told that I show patience, flexibility, positivity, and consistency within my teaching. I am also a strong believer for making teaching fun and try to incorporate as much learning through playing and trying various other methods as well. I have been taught and assessed by teachers with 10+ years experience in teaching, where I was able to pick up many key teaching techniques.
