I am a vibrant and enthusiastic mathematics teacher currently working full time. I have been teaching in secondary education (including A Levels) for ten years and have tutored individuals at primary level, GCSE and A Level maths. I have also worked with individuals at KS2 level supporting them with English, maths, science and study skills. I work hard to boost learners' confidence and aim to encourage them to want to learn.

Tutoring Experience

I am a qualified secondary maths teacher currently working in a high achieving sixth form college. Prior to this I worked in a comprehensive school in Hertfordshire and an outstanding grammar school in Berkshire. Alongside full time teaching of maths I have tutored individuals from KS2 to A level.

Tutoring Approach

To ensure students are able to make the most of their sessions lessons are planned and tailored to their needs.Students are asked to identify clearly their needs and areas they would like support to be focused. I set students work to complete on their own after learning sessions and work through this with them in their next session. I believe focused independent study mixed with guided support is the key to boosting confidence and improving learning.
