I have worked as Maths tutor since I qualified with QTS back in 2007.

Tutoring Approach

A deep understanding of topics is preferable to shallow parrot fashion learning, if you want to commit to memory. I devise a particular scheme for each student, depending on their abilities, and I work through each topic. I also follow up with topic tests to ensure understanding has taken place.
I prefer to teach from home, as it is more conducive to learning, as I have all my resources to hand. I will travel, but my rate excludes the this cost
