A qualified Maths tutor with a PhD degree in Maths from the University of Strathclyde. I have been tutoring and preparing students for their exams for the last 15 years. As a tutor I work with students on a one-to-one basis either in person or over video-call, helping them gain confidence in Mathematics. I can ensure that students will improve their confidence and I will provide them support in working towards improving their grades.
I have a track record in ensuring that students with conditional offers from universities receive their desired grades and students struggling within their class reach a standard which they are content with. Tutoring Approach

My experience of teaching abroad as well as in the UK coupled with my qualification and training had given me an opportunity to perform effectively as a Math's tutor. My students get support that is tailored more specifically to their needs-which is an experience that they do not get in the classroom.
My fifteen years of teaching experience has developed my philosophy of valuing students as individuals with varying needs. I aim to provide students as many learning opportunities and experiences as possible in order to engage, motivate and prepare them for their exams and hence for their future life.
I believe that a teacher's perceptions, beliefs and personality play a major role in creating a positive learning environment. Effective verbal and non-verbal communications, professionalism, high expectancy from the students to raise motivation and achieve targets are the traits of an effective teacher, which I have been demonstrating throughout my teaching career.
