Kelly

I am a former Head of Art who has taught Art at GCSE and A level (AQA/Edexcel) for the last 10 years. As well as specialising in Fine Art, I have experience teaching Art BTEC, Art textiles and Photography. I have a BA Hons in Fine Art and an up to date DBS with my school. I currently teach at a Kent grammar school and specialise in GCSE and A level support. I am passionate about making Art, continue my own practice outside of my teaching role and believe fervently that young people should embrace their creativity and “follow your Art”.

Tutoring Experience

I have been tutoring students from primary age up to sixth form for the last 4 years supporting students in everything from preparation for art scholarship applications for private schools, GCSE portfolio and university portfolios for art subjects.

Tutoring Approach

I teach art through getting to know my students, engaging their interests and building a love of creativity. I tailor my teaching to their skills base and what they aspire to achieve, be this a GCSE or an individual project.
