I am a fully qualified teacher of ICT and Computer Science with more than 10 years experience both in the UK and abroad, I am dedicated and I love learning!
I constantly reflect on my practice and work towards improving how I teach.
Outside of work I enjoy new adventures such as travelling, I have hiked and rock climbed in Spain, surfed in Australia and interrailed through Europe.

Tutoring Experience

I have introduced both ICT and Computer Science in my school at A level and IGCSE from the beginning and I am the sole teacher in the department.
I have personalized lessons for more able and less able groups to specifically meet the needs of the learner, I encourage independence to build the learners skills and confidence as well thinking critically to support theory knowledge.
As a teacher my success has been celebrated because IGCSE and A level results for the groups I have led for the last two years have been outstanding.

Tutoring Approach

My approach is that I would like to speak with the learner and understand their strengths and weaknesses so I can personalise the lesson for them.
I want to make the lesson as interactive as possible, so the learner can feel confident about what they have learned and not feel overwhelmed with information from being lectured at. My aim is to make what is hard, easy!
