I have over five years' lecturing experience, and my absolute passion is teaching. I am qualified to lecture a range of subjects, including; Psychology, Health and Social Care, Business Psychology, English, Sociology, Early Years, Research Methods, General Primary amongst others. I have a master's degree and I am currently reading for my PhD.
I have over five years' lecturing experience, I have taught in both FE and HE. I have also won two teaching awards and have a PGCE.
My approach to tutoring is individually-tailored to suit each student. I have an appreciation that every student is different and therefore requires teaching in a flexible way to suit them. My tutoring mainly focuses on current topics students are finding challenging, essay support, proof-reading assignments and dissertations and also revision support. I use a range of resources and activities depending on what the student requires, for example; creating revision cards for exam preparation, proof-reading essays, one-to-one support with reading and writing skills, mini-tests and so on.
