Katie

I am currently employed as a Senior Research Officer in the civil service. I have around 2 years experience working in professional social research. Prior to this, I studied MSc Research Methods in Psychological Science and BA (Hons) Psychology. I also hold Highers in Psychology and Sociology and an HNC in Social Sciences, all at A grade level.

I have 5 years line management experience in retail and academia, so I am confident coaching individuals to meet targets. I have good communication skills, and a patient and understanding approach.

Tutoring Experience

I have managed the development of Research Officers in my work role, including coaching with data analysis and academic writing. I have also provided direction to undergraduate students as part of my MSc.

Tutoring Approach

I am happy to provide one-to-one tutoring support to students. I offer online tutoring over Microsoft Teams.
