As a Science Teacher at an Outstanding school, I am fully aware and up to date with the knowledge, understanding and skill-set required for GCSE Biology. As a result, I am able to provide quality tutoring sessions tailored to each individual's needs.

I am friendly, approachable and driven to help my students attain the best they can! I have a real passion for Science and like to think my creative style of teaching will help students to not only understand Biology but also enjoy it!

Tutoring Experience

I am a fully qualified teacher at an Outstanding Secondary School.
I can provide tutoring sessions for: AQA or EDEXCEL GCSE Biology Trilogy (Higher and Foundation level); AQA or EDEXCEL GCSE Biology (Separates); OCR AS level Biology and OCR A2 level Biology.

Tutoring Approach

I recognise that every student's needs are different and therefore personalise the tutoring sessions to the student. Notably, I will devise a tutoring plan with students, to ensure that their needs are met. My sessions are an effective use of time as I know that preparation for exams should be about revising content and refining exam technique. Therefore my sessions include topic content as well as exam question practise. From my experience of teaching GCSE and A level, I have a great understanding of common exam mistakes and what a model answer looks like, and so I will share these ideas with students.

In addition, I am also able to introduce students to effective revision strategies and how to create a revision timetable.
