Passionate about my subjects, English and Drama, I really enjoy learning about my students and their future aspirations. I have a daughter who recently completed an MA, so I fully understand the demands of having a young person in the house who is studying hard! I have many varied interests including going to the cinema and theatre; visiting art galleries and museums; walking in the countryside; traveling and experiencing other cultures and keeping fit by swimming and going to the gym.
Having qualified with a PGCE Secondary Drama I have been teaching Drama and English up to and including A2 level at various schools and as a private tutor throughout north Wales and Cheshire for 20 years. Having worked in a number of schools has enabled me to gain extensive knowledge and experience of different examination boards. As well as teaching in the UK I have also taught at various international schools.
My approach to tutoring is a kind of learning coach - guiding and instructing the student.
