My name is Karnpreet Removed and I'm a secondary school Science teacher with just over 8 years of tutoring experience and 3 years of classroom teaching. My background is in Biochemistry, having graduated from the University of Birmingham in Biochemistry with a year in Computer Science (BSc). I'm incredibly multi-faceted academically, being able to help with a wide range of subjects across different levels from primary to college.

Tutoring Experience

I've been tutoring for the last 8 years of my life and have been teaching for the last 3 years, having worked in three different secondary schools.

Tutoring Approach

I use the first session to learn more about the best way a pupil learns before tailoring and adapting my resources and approach in order to help maximise the time I spend with them. With my experience in differentiation, scaffolding work and helping pupils who have Special Educational Needs (SEN) or who have English as an Additional Language (EAL), I have a wide range of approaches and resources that allows me to deliver no matter what position a child is in.

For middle-high ability pupils, I make extensive use of past paper questions so they gain practice of how to recall and apply knowledge to exam style questions which does not always match the activities done in school.
