I am Karin Merx and I live in the Romford (RM3) area. I am a professional academic, course content creator, artist/illustrator, editor, and podcaster. I am a PhD scholar and studied Cultural Studies at the Open University in the Netherlands, and Music at the Sweelinck Conservatory in Amsterdam (flute). I taught for 20 + years and enjoy teaching about the subjects I love (English KS2, KS3, 11+, Verbal Reasoning CEM/GL, Graphic Design, Art, Art History, Cultural Philosophy, Cultural History, Literature, Film Philosophy). I am available to tutor students on the subject English 11+ Verbal Reasoning (GL+CEM) (Ks2-Ks3), Dutch for beginners, university essay, music theory, graphic design and the adobe software tools. I also offer assistance with research proposals for University Masters or PhD. My tuition sessions are a minimum of 1 hour.
Tuition takes preferable place in a neutral location (Online, local library, local study centre or at the student's home) to minimise distractions for students. If you are not familiar with online studying and tuition I can give you a free trial for the first 15 minutes. Online tutoring has proofed to be more focussed and the student appears to be more concentrated and less distracted.
