I'm a qualified and experienced teacher of English for speakers of other languages. I'm a native English speaker. I've been teaching English for eight years to students from many different countries, and with a wide variety of ability ranges. I have a Cambridge Certificate in English Language Teaching to Adults (CELTA) from the Manchester Academy of English.

Tutoring Experience

I have helped many students pass an IELTS exam. If you need help with academic writing or a driving theory test, for example, I have helped students with those or many other kinds of situations. such as gaining the confidence to go shopping or to the hairdressers alone.

Tutoring Approach

Your first lesson would be a needs assessment. We can your level of English and what improvements you're looking for. I then plan what to cover in the first few lessons, although this can of course be adapted as lessons proceed.
