My name is Karel, and I am a student of aeronautical engineering. I am passionate about the fields of STEM, and I want to encourage younger students to discover their interest and confidence in these areas. As a fellow student, I understand the challenges that come with learning these subjects, and I am excited to help you overcome them.

Apart from my academic pursuits, I have been an avid rugby player for many years and also enjoy cycling and running.

Tutoring Experience

As someone who has tutored my classmates and friends in the past, I have found that helping others to succeed in their studies is something that I truly enjoy. I have been tutoring maths for a while now, and I find it highly rewarding to see my students' growing confidence and engagement in each lesson.

My passion for teaching is complemented by my hobbies, which include cycling, running, playing tennis, and rugby. Through these activities, I have developed a strong sense of discipline, focus, and teamwork, which I believe are qualities that can be highly beneficial to my tutoring approach.

I am familiar with several types of entrance exams, such as the 11+ CEM and GL, as well as national exams such as GCSEs and A-levels.

As a tutor, my main priority is to create a positive and encouraging learning environment for my students. Every student is unique, and I understand that each one has their own way of learning. Therefore, I tailor my lessons to the individual, taking into account their learning style, interests, and what they would like to cover. By fostering an atmosphere of trust and understanding, my students feel comfortable asking questions and receiving immediate feedback, which is not always possible in a traditional classroom setting.

My ultimate goal as a tutor is not only to help my students succeed academically but also to inspire them to develop a love and appreciation for maths and science. By providing a supportive and encouraging environment, and by tailoring my teaching methods to each student's specific needs, I believe I can help them achieve their full potential.
