Information About Julie - Nottingham tutor - (3 reviews)
This is how 2 referees rated Julie:
I am a qualified maths teacher and I am calm, approachable and encouraging. I enjoy working with students on a one-to-one basis, allowing us to concentrate on the areas most beneficial to their progress in maths. I have a first class Oxbridge maths degree and I am DBS checked.
I have taught maths in age 11-18 schools and tutored many students of this age and above, including KS3, GCSE (foundation and higher), AS, A Level and the numeracy skills test. I have also provided maths support for non-maths qualifications, such as forensic science and engineering.
My tutoring ranges from increasing confidence in basic maths to detailed preparation for specific examinations, so my approach varies according to individual needs, goals and time-frames. My students are very comfortable to ask any questions they have and we work at the pace which best suits them. I am available after school, evenings and weekends for weekly one hour slots, either term-time only, or all year round. I am also available some daytimes and I offer more ad hoc sessions, where I can fit these around regular bookings.
