I was born and bred in Germany, studied in Paris and have been working in England as a grammar school teacher prior to having a family. I encourage everyone to learn a language: it's fun, it's useful, it broadens one's horizon and looks good on any CV.
Formerly a grammar school teacher, I have been teaching privately for the last five years. I cover any level for any exam board, e.g. AQA and Edexcel for GCSE and A Level students. Adults are encouraged to take the internationally recognised Goethe Institute's Certificates A1 to C2 (for immigration, university applications, etc.) but may of course just learn for the fun of it. University students are supported according to their needs.
My lessons will reflect your level of competence and learning style, your personal aims, ambitions and time frame. They will be structured to include all four skills of listening, reading, speaking and writing as appropriate and will naturally include vocabulary building and grammar.
