I am currently a teacher of mathematics at a college that has consistently been ranked in the top ten in the country. I moved into teaching after a successful career in the software industry, but decided that I needed a more rewarding vocation. I love teaching maths and inspiring my students to achieve their own success.

Tutoring Experience

I have been teaching A level mathematics for 12 years. This has included all core modules; mechanics; statistics and decision maths. I am also able to tutor in all further maths and A2 applied modules. I have experience teaching and tutoring modules from Edexcel, OCR and OCR MEI exam boards.

Tutoring Approach

As a teacher I quickly identify my students’ difficulties and put strategies in place to overcome them. I have extensive resources that will challenge the best students and help struggling students tackle the basics. There is no easy fix, becoming good at maths requires hard work and perseverance, but no matter what your current level, I can help.
