I am a fluent language speaker and musician. I love teaching students of all ages from primary to adult, and am a well prepared teacher who makes lessons interesting and fun, as well as having a clear lesson plan so students and parents know what they need to do for students to achieve their objectives - whether that is to pass exams or to learn for fun, for example, to be able to communicate on holiday in France.

Tutoring Experience

I have 35+ years of teaching English in Taiwan, Mandarin Chinese and French in the UK, and piano and flute in the UK. I am a Grade 8 classical pianist, orchestra flautist, fluent Mandarin French and German speaker, and Chartered Management accredited coach and mentor. I also have extensive experience teaching and training, am patient and helpful, and excel at giving my students confidence in their ability to achieve great things in life!

Tutoring Approach

I teach in a way which is both strict to get results - includes homework and progress tests - and fun including online language learning games. I am also a Level 3 Chartered Management Institute trained mentor and coach. As a teacher, trainer, coach and mentor, I am a strong believer in bringing out the best in all my students.
