An economics graduate from the University of Nottingham, (I got my teaching qualification at University of Derby) but I return from time to time to deliver lessons in Numeracy and sessions in Core Mathematics in their one day Easter event. I absolutely love the topic, and it's my aim to get my students to love it too.
I'm now in my third year teaching Mathematics at Leicester College FE and lead an online GCSE Maths course here. When I'm not there, I enjoy tutoring students in Maths from KS3 to Undergraduate level; in economics; and general computing stuff. I've been tutoring for a good seven years.
The beauty of 1:2:1 tutoring is that one can get to know the person learning the subject directly. What is their current strengths? Perhaps even in a separate subject, even. Utilising that to help maths make sense. And, I welcome lots of questions too.
