Music has always been my biggest passion. I have been playing the drums since 2002, and teaching professionally since 2009. I have also been a professional music producer and international DJ since 2015, specialising in computer-based music production and composition.

With over ten years experience performing live in bands of all genres, and DJing electronic music, I have been gigging regularly across the UK and Europe since the age of 12.

Tutoring Experience

Currently working as a full time professional musician, I specialise in one-to-one drum kit tuition, but have the knowledge and experience to cover any musical subjects. I also have years of experience teaching classes in primary and secondary schools on subjects such as music, music composition, music theory, singing, keyboards, samba drumming and African drumming.

Guidance on GSCE and A-Level music performance, composition and theory is available, as well as assistance on University level music modules and courses.

I have experience teaching students of all ages and abilities, including children with sever learning difficulties, physical disabilities and challenging behaviour.

I take pride in my ability to teach a variety of subjects in a fun, engaging and relaxed environment. Specialising in music education means I have a creative approach to learning, adapting my teaching techniques to meet the specific needs of each individual student.
