Information About Jeri - Leeds tutor - (3 reviews)
This is how 2 referees rated Jeri:
26 year old Irish final year PhD student in the School of English at the University of Leeds. My special expertise is in Renaissance Drama (Shakespeare and his contemporaries) but I am capable of teaching English Literature and Language to a high level across all literary periods.
I am also available to tutor across a range of different disciplines. In particular, I can help to improve essay structure, writing style, referencing, and can provide proofreading services.
I have extensive experience of private tuition and have had over 10 tutees over the past 2 years. These have predominantly been English Literature students but I have also tutored in Theatre Studies, Childhood Studies, and French.
I also work as a Postgraduate Teaching Assistant in the School of English at the University of Leeds where I run weekly seminars and mark assessments.
I am comfortable tailoring my approach to tutee's individual needs. Although I do offer online tuition, I always find it more productive to meet face-to-face for 1-2 hours at a time. I suggest an initial meeting to ensure both sides are happy and so that a tuition plan can be put into place from the outset.

Taking me through each stage of the essay process, Jeri aids my understanding of what makes a strong argument and structure. He goes above and beyond any task given to him, I'm so glad I found him.
I would recommend Jeri in a heartbeat!
He helped me with my dissertation in terms of its structure and language. He helped me to improve my grade from a lower second class level, to a first class level. In the end, I got A in my dissertation and it helps me to graduate with a first degree honour.
I would have no hesitation in recommending Jeri.
