I have worked in teaching for 7 years and am currently Curriculum Lead for English. Prior to this I worked in PR and Marketing for a busy agency.

I enjoy a range of water sports and sports in general.

Tutoring Experience

I am currently working as a Curriculum lead in a secondary school in Shepperton. I have 7 years of experience teaching both English Language and Literature at GCSE level. My students tend to do very well and I have the best results in both Lit and Lang in my department. Students I have tutored in the past have gained grade 9’s.

I work with students from year 7 upwards with a range of abilities and have experience with working with higher achievers as well as those with learning needs.

Tutoring Approach

I believe that building confidence and love of a subject is key in achievement. Differentiation to meet the student’s needs is vital. Whilst I am quite relaxed in my approach I believe this fosters a comfortable environment for the student to learn.
