I am from Canada originally and did my teaching degree in Scotland. I have worked in two different schools and enjoyed both in different ways. I have also worked for tuition companies in Canada and in the UK. I love teaching maths and would be happy to help regarding private tuition needs.

Tutoring Experience

I have been a full time secondary maths teacher in the UK for 7 years. My GCSE maths and statistics classes have achieved results that are well above the national average. In 2022-2023 my year 11 GCSE Maths class had a progress 8 score of 1.42 and my year 11 GCSE Statistics class had a progress 8 score of 1.85. This compares to a national average progress 8 score of 0.00.

Tutoring Approach

I think it's important to check in first with a student's current knowledge and their goals. After that I design and deliver a revision course specific to their wants and needs.
