Janet responded quickly and is tailoring our French lessons to what we need.

I highly recommend Janet to any parent whose child needs support with GCSE French. Janet has been teaching my daughter since October, and I’ve noticed a significant improvement in her understanding of French. She had been struggling with listening and reading, but now she feels much more confident in both areas.

My daughter has shared how much she appreciates Janet’s teaching style, describing it as supportive and encouraging. Janet is approachable, clear in her explanations, and excellent at breaking down techniques and pronunciation of words and phrases. Her method of correcting mistakes is kind and constructive, which has made my daughter feel more confident and less afraid to attempt speaking or translating orally.

The written feedback Janet provides after lessons has been incredibly helpful in tracking progress, and the occasional additional tasks have further boosted my daughter’s learning and confidence. I also value how Janet tailors each session to focus on areas where my daughter feels less confident, leading to noticeable improvements.

Amazing teacher but then not much availability

Janet is one of the most professional tutors that we’ve ever met. She gave some French lessons for my year 8 boy who was preparing his end of year test, which was a great experience to learn with a special tutor like Janet. Highly recommended from us!

My child has had 5 sessions with Janet so far and has enjoyed them , she is very good at explaining things and keeping it simple, my child is picking things up quickly so all good .

Janet has provided structured lessons for my son adapting to his requirements whilst setting additional support learning. Very punctual and most importantly my son is loving the lessons.

Janet started tutoring my my younger son GCSE's and is now tutoring my older son. I understand from both my sons, they enjoy the lessons and understands the tutor.
