My aim is to help you pass your exam or speak a language better, and also to pass on my enthusiasm for language. I have been tutoring French language for more than 15 years, and am familiar with the UK wide examination syllabus (including the new specifications); as well as some of the Delf tests for the French ministry of education.
II studied French at the University of Manchester, with Italian subsidiary. University. I have worked as a professional translator in the holiday industry and assisted in schools.
My specialist subject is French, and my ongoing knowledge of French culture and current affairs is especially useful for A level students, as my son who is now studying A level French at one of our local schools will tell you. The other subjects I tutor are English language GCSE, Italian, EFL and primary English.
Private tutor, to all ages. Teaching assistant. Delf tutor.
French, English, Italian.
Varied activities with plenty of focus on all skills: speaking, listening, reading comprehension and writing. I try to make sure all students are totally confident in the everyday topics and verb tenses by the time they begin their more intensive GCSE or A level courses. There are few limits to what you can achieve with confidence and a bit of work. The new syllabus is a little more demanding but I have found grades A, or B at A level, and 7 to 9 at GCSE are perfectly achievable with well organised study.
