'He got into his first choice - Nottingham Trent! He is absolutely the delighted, and thinks you have made a huge difference for him. Thank you! We will be forever grateful for your help, expertise and support. He will drop you a line.. once he comes down to earth.' [Father of online Psychology student]
'I wanted to let you know that I got an A grade for my sociology A level exam results. I'm so happy I can't believe it. I thought maybe a C grade at the most. Thank you for helping me to achieve it, I really appreciate all you did for me.' [Student who I was employed to give support to from a school in the North West]
'I got an A* in Sociology!!! I am over the moon!! Thank you so much for all of your help!' [online student from Birmingham]
The amount of high grades awarded have been significantly lower this year (44%) but this has not been the case in my students who have continued to achieve over 60% A*-B grades with 100% A*-C
A levels have always described as being a big step up from GCSE and I know that having a tutor, giving one to one support, can help to give a real boost.
I am on hand to give advice and support outside of scheduled lesson times and encourage my students to utilise my support whenever they need help. I do not believe that tutoring ends when the exams are sat - as I am on hand to give support on results day to answer any queries you might have.
I set regular homework tasks and past exam paper questions to assess progress.
I can give written reports and verbal feedback on your son / daughter’s progress if required.
If you have any questions please just ask!
** Please do not proceed until you are sure that I can meet your needs. Unfortunately, First Tutors do not allow me to speak to you privately, so you will need to message me through their platform. Thank you. **
I am sorry but I don’t offer free trial lessons but I can speak to you before the planned lesson to discuss your needs.
