I am an experienced teacher with a love of my subject biology. I also enjoy Amateur Dramatics, sport, particularly tennis and horse riding. My husband's career has meant that we have moved several times including living in Belgium for three years where I taught in an International school.
I am an experienced teacher and lecturer teaching biology mainly at sixth form colleges or Adult education establishments. I have taught biology for most of the Boards to 'A' Level and I have taught the science segments of B.Tec in Health and Social Care, Animal Care, Childcare, Beauty therapy and Hairdressing.
I have also taught in secondary schools, covering Biology, Chemistry and Physics to GCSE.
As an experienced tutor I adapt my tutoring style to each student - some students want a few cramming sessions to top up their understanding just before exams and others prefer to work solidly through the topics to gain a fuller understanding. I try and meet each students needs.
