!! I have just moved to Forest Hill, after previously being in Hackney, so I am pleased to be able to take on new pupils. I can currently offer GCSE Maths preparation sessions for two more Year 11 students, either foundation or higher. Easter holiday sessions available !!

I am a full time mathematics teacher in a London school.

I love my subject and I am passionate about the need for everyone to attain a GCSE in mathematics. I was previously a financial auditor for 5 years.

Tutoring Experience

I am a working mathematics teacher for KS3 and KS4. I teach the highest attaining students in my school for Year 7 and Year 9. I have an A* in a-level mathematics. I've already taught hundreds of hours of lessons to 11-16 year olds. I am well-versed with the GCSE paper.

Tutoring Approach

I believe everyone can do mathematics. If a child cannot understand a topic, it is the teaching that requires adapting to help the child understand. I enjoy breaking down mathematical topics and explaining them clearly, using everyday language. If you have a child in year 10 or 11, then we will focus on exam technique. If you have a child in year 7, 8 or 9, we will focus on foundational skills, but also bring in some exam focus too (which will help with their end of term assessments).
