After graduating from The Unviersity of Oxford with an Integrated Master's in Chemistry, while also tutoring in my final year, I decided that I wanted to go straight into teaching. I am currently teaching at one of the top independent schools in the UK, and also achieved a distinction in my PGCE while working at the same time.
I specialise in Interview Preparation for Chemistry interviews at Oxford and Imperial but also tutor Chemistry from KS3 to A-Level as well as Physics and Maths to (I)GCSE standard with the ability to tutor any exam board.
Due to being a teacher, my availability is far greater during the holidays, but I am available for online sessions in the evening during term time or in person for closer clients, I am looking for another client currently, so I am sure we will be able to work out a mutually convenient time. Over the holidays I am also able to offer intensive 'crash courses', or even half-day courses, if desirable.
I have a proven track record, especially with Oxford/Imperial Chemistry admissions, and experience tutoring/teaching students with SEND requirements, including ASD/ADHD/dyslexia. I am also highly exerpienced with tutoring, and teaching, students with varying academic abilities, so no matter the target grade I am able to produce a robust plan to aid with achieving it.

Chemistry Teacher for three years.
Chemistry Tutor for four years.
For Interview Preparation we will go through the most common questions, and a lot of first year University level material. For KS3 to A-Level, I mainly focus on past paper questions as due to the repeitive nature of A-Level and GCSE exams, I fundamentally believe past paper questions are the best way to learn, as not only do you increase your own knowledge, you can also semi-rote learn mark schemes. This pathway also greatly increases exam technique. However, if fundamental gaps in knowledge become apparent on particular topics, we will go over the specific topics.
