We engaged Jacqueline to help our daughter with her GCSE Language and Literature exams.
Jacqueline has been excellent in teaching our daughter how to answer the exam questions to maximise her marks, and her experience of being an examiner really helps. She has also gone over and above by assisting us in finding an exam centre. She always replies promptly to any questions we have had. We would highly recommend Jacqueline - thank you so much!

Jacky aways sends an email on the day of my daughters tuition making me aware of what they will be doing in the lesson and is quick to respond to any emails we send to her.
Our daughter says Jacky is very knowledgeable on all texts and aware of the objective requirements for exam questions .

Jacqueline is a fantastic tutor. She has been tutoring my daughter, who is taking her IGCSEs in language and literature at the end of the year, for a few weeks and we have already seen her grow in confidence. My daughter who is currently in 6th form needed a tutori over the summer to improve her Mock results. Jacqueline was absolutely brilliant giving individualised attention and support to help Abi feel more confident about her work. Jacqueline very accommodating and helpful with great knowledge. She was able to identify areas where Abi needed support and given ideas how to improve how work.
Abi really enjoyed the sessions and found them so helpful that she decided to carry on after the summer to help her get a better A level result.

Jacky did a trial lesson and was a very kind and patient tutor. The lesson was well organised, useful and communication in advance / afterwards was excellent. Unfortunately the available time slot was not ideal to be able to continue with which Jacky was also very understanding about.

I can’t recommend Jacky enough. She engaged my 16 year old son from the outset. She is well prepared for the lesson, communicative before hand and always punctual. My son feels much more confident in his own ability now and he talks positively about a subject that he previously disliked.

Jacky has been tutoring my Year 11 daughter in Language and Literature for the past 3 months, and I couldn't be more impressed. My daughter is naturally quite shy but really enjoys her lessons with Jacky. The content for each lesson is always tailored to my daughter's needs with a good variety of work covered, relatable content, and some fantastic guidance on answering GCSE exam questions. Jacky is really responsive to any email queries, and the lessons are (in my opinion) excellent value for money!

Just a few weeks ago, my daughter, Sophia, was really struggling with her literature work (specifically pertaining to Wuthering Heights). We decided that a few priva**Contact Detail Removed**ssons would be the best way forward and settled on Jacqueline as a tutor because of her excellent credentials. We weren’t disappointed! Jacqueline’s tuition is really second-to-none and Sophia loved working with her. Her teaching style was always in-depth and interesting and- if Sophia didn’t understand something- she’d find a new way of explaining it. She also went above and beyond with providing downloadable resources and worksheets that helped Sophia to improve outside of lessons, as well as offering exemplary and useful feedback on work produced. I really can’t praise this tutor highly enough. Thanks to Jacqueline, Sophia has a newfound confidence in her coursework and so do I! We’re expecting her to pass her current course with flying colours. To those of you browsing the reviews, looking for the right tutor to choose: you really couldn’t do any better than Jacqueline .
