Information About Jackie - Croy tutor - (6 reviews)
This is how 3 referees rated Jackie:
I am a writer and tutor, and author of the book Grammar Made Easy. I have considerable experience of working with students of all ages. I tutor in my own home and in students' homes.
My background and qualifications are in maths and I offer tuition in maths to get children ready for high school.
I am an experienced writer and tutor, having written, and ghost written, several books. Since November 2014 I have been a study skills tutor at the University of Stirling, working in particular with students who have dyslexia. I also tutor secondary aged children, up to Advanced Higher English level.
I am happy to give students homework to work on in between sessions, so that they are getting more from their time with me. This allows them the chance to work on their own for a bit each week, with feedback given when we meet. This also means that parents are getting a bit more for their money. I aim to get students relaxed with me. If they are relaxed they will find learning easier and will feel more at ease asking me questions.

His level of work and understanding of how to get through the work has improved massively.
Jackie set out a program of work based on Zachs needs, having sampled some of his early work she focused on on his weaknesses and brought him up to the right standard to ensure a solid pass in his final exam.
we would highly recommend Jackie.
I was upset to read an earlier review which suggested that Jackie might not want to tutor asian people. This could not be further from the truth as i myself and my daughter are also asian and we get on so well with Jackie, i would even go so far as to say that we have become friends.
Jackie has given me and my daughter hope for the future, i wish i had found Jackie sooner, she such a star!
