I have been a primary class teacher for over six years and taught in all areas of the curriculum. My teaching experiences includes all classes across Key Stages 1 and 2 including Reception. With a wide range of tutoring experience 1:1 to suit different needs, I have worked successfully with pupils struggling at school and those who cannot cope for behavioural reasons. I am well versed in current formative, summative and proactive assessment techniques so that I can tell how a pupil is doing at any given moment in time and what they will need in order to make progress. I currently hold QTS and the relevant qualifications to teach.

I believe it is important to encourage pupils into finding out more about the world in which they live, encouraging self-discovery on an individual basis, whilst nurturing their self-confidence from within. I therefore possess a strong commitment to the pupils' personal development based on how they learn best which has assisted them towards reaching their full potential. My enthusiasm for the job and the subjects I teach encourages the pupils to feel good about their achievements. Overall, I believe that I am a creative and innovative teacher with a patient and motivating approach to the pupils under my care.
