I am an Economics student at University of Warwick, having achieved A*'s in Maths and Economics for my A-levels. I am able to teach these at GCSE and A-levels. Before beginning my classes, I like to understand where the student is at and where I would be able to assist the most, so that I can plan my lessons accordingly to best meet their needs.
I have tutored during my high school to those a year or two years below me. I also recently spent the summer in Ghana, Africa teaching maths to form 1, 2 and 3 students, where we covered topics such as angles, coordinate geometry, and construction.
I like to know what topics the student is weak at and wants to specifically work on beforehand. This way, I can prepare a timetable to be able to cover these topics over a number of lessons. I spend a few lessons teaching the topic, and then also do past-paper style questions towards the end of the topic or sometimes also while teaching the content.
