Helped students studying for their GCSE, IGCSE, IB, and A levels for different exam boards (Edexcel, AQA, Cambridge CIE, OCR, OCR A, OCR MEI, etc.)

Taught over 10000 hours of one to one and group lessons.

Tutoring Approach

Build confidence around the subject and the exams.

Understand the challenges the students have when learning the subject.
Set a plan to target all the challenges by starting from the basics and building towards fully understanding the topic and answering questions to reinforce the knowledge.

Exam preparation in every lesson allowing the student to understand what to expect on the exam day and the exam content.

Dedicated sessions tackling worded problems and best techniques to solve them. This could be a very worded question in Maths that needs to be broken down into few steps, long explanation in science question that carry six marks, and algorithms using psudocode or flowcharts in computer science.

The experience in engineering helps the students understand the concept of modelling and how the maths and science is being used in everyday life.
