Based in West London, willing to travel 10 miles and can also tutor online.
For me, teaching is not only a fulfilling profession but provides inner happiness and a sense of achievement. I have 10 years of experience teaching GCSE and preparing students for Grammar and Independent Schools.
I am also pursuing my career in becoming a full-time Accounting/Business lecturer by completing a PhD.
I am currently a PhD student and Applied Accounting Graduate from a leading University in London with a First class Honours degree. Also, just completed my MSc Finance too with Distinction. I am Part ACCA, CIMA and CFA(Level 2) qualified.
I specialise in Maths, English and Science for all levels (Primary to GCSE), Business subjects (Business Studies, Financial and Management Accounting, Economics, Corporate Governance and Audit). Moreover, I specialise in Grammar/Independent schools Admissions(75% pass rate)
I have been teaching since I myself was studying for my GCSE, helping and teaching my fellow classmates, and since then, I have been voluntarily teaching in Summer Camps at my School.
Have also attended workshops at Teachers Resource Centre to enhance my skills into teaching and managing classrooms. After achieving straight A*'s in both GCSE and A-levels I have taken teaching more seriously and taught GCSE students at some of the most renowned schools, which follow the curriculum designed by University of Cambridge.
My approach is based on structured sessions, and I like to plan out at an early stage, after gauging the level of the student. I set out the goals to be achieved per session, so that progress can be assessed against the plan regularly. I am a patient and approachable tutor and always give my utmost to get the best out of the students. Maths is a challenging subject therefore I try to keep things simple and work step by step, to assist the student in understanding the concepts, also polishing the basics as we go along.
