I have now completed two years of my Undergradute degree at the University of Cambridge reading Mathematics. I achieved four A*s in my Maths, Further Maths, Physics and Chemistry A Levels. I studied at King Edward VI Grammar School, Chelmsford from 2010 until 2017, achieving 13 A*s at GCSE.
I have considerable tutoring experience, having tutored around 30 students of varying ability over the past six years. I've covered maths, physics and chemistry at KS3 and GCSE level, and maths, further maths, physics and chemistry at A Level, with my tutees going on to enjoy success. For example my students have achieved an A* in A Level Further Maths, A* in Chemistry GCSE and a 7 in their maths (first year of the new system). On average, my students improved upon their predicted grades by one or two grades. For more information, please feel free to read my reviews.
Students learn best from someone passionate about the subject they are trying to learn. I am incredibly passionate about the subjects I'm studying and strive to simplify topics to make them clear and easy to understand. As a student, I have recent experience of learning the topics I am teaching and this gives me a unique ability to assess how best to impart this knowledge. Often my ability to view a challenging topic from a pupil's perspective makes an explanation easier to understand than one coming from a teacher, for example.
