I've been a private tutor for several years now, and I love teaching. I have a first class degree in Spanish and Modern Languages from the University of Oxford, and am currently studying part time for my MSc in Environmental Governance.

Tutoring Experience

I first started tutoring in 2015, and since then I have taught students between the ages of five and eighteen in all of the subjects I offer, as well as offering guidance on university applications. I have also been employed in a school as a Spanish tutor, assisting GCSE and A-Level students to prepare for their examinations and achieve the goals they had set themselves.

My experience covers a range of different exam boards, levels and topics.

Tutoring Approach

One of the benefits of private tuition is that the student receives personalised lessons, and so each of my lesson plans and courses are individually tailored to the student based on their interests, strengths, weaknesses and how they learn best. This allows me to teach through a range of practical activities, so that my students consistently leave their sessions not only with an understanding of each topic, but confident that they can apply what they've learned in both real life and the exam environment.

This approach has proven successful thus far - my students have gone on to consistently exceed their predicted grades and often find themselves enjoying the subjects more than they did previously.
