Hello! I am a third-year student studying Bio-Dental Science and Technology at the University of Sheffield. After graduating I aspire to study Dental Surgery and further specialise in Restorative Dentistry.
I am patient and motivated and these elements are crucial for academic success. I will ensure I find the most engaging yet efficient teaching strategy for your child to maximise their learning. I believe there is no such thing as the perfect teacher but rather the perfect compatibility between tutor and tutee.
I myself had a tutor alongside my studies so I personally know how great of an impact they can have; not only on your studies but on your entire perspective on education. My understanding and empathy will allow students to easily connect with me.

Tutoring Experience

As an ambassador at the university has enabled me to offer;
-UCAT/ medical admission advice
-Dentistry and medicine application and interview experience and advice
-Voluntary tutoring sessions for GCSE students during the summer

Tutoring Approach

I will tailor my approach as I see fit for students. For KS3/primary school students I will help them with homework and provide supplementary understanding of any studies they may be struggling with from school. The same goes for GCSE students, but I will teach them the importance of developing skills vital to use for progressing onto A-Levels and Higher Education. Action plans and regular goals will be set for either subject so progress can be seen and this will also encourage motivation. Moreover, the student will be involved with the lesson plans so they are fully engaged with their interests/target areas being explored.
