Hey! I graduated with a First-Class degree in Bio-dental Dental Science and Technology from the University of Sheffield and am now aiming to pursue Dental Surgery, with a particular focus on Restorative Dentistry. I consider myself both patient and driven—qualities I believe are essential for academic success. My goal is to find the most engaging and effective teaching methods for your child, ensuring they make the most of their learning experience.

I don’t believe there is such a thing as the ‘perfect’ teacher, but rather the perfect match between tutor and student. Having had a tutor myself during my studies, I understand the significant impact they can have—not just on academic progress, but on one's overall attitude towards education. My empathy and understanding will allow students to feel comfortable and build strong connections, creating a positive and supportive learning environment.

-Voluntary tutoring sessions for GCSE students during the summer

Tutoring Approach

I will tailor my approach as I see fit for students. For KS3/primary school students I will help them with homework and provide supplementary understanding of any studies they may be struggling with from school. The same goes for GCSE students, but I will teach them the importance of developing skills vital to use for progressing onto A-Levels and Higher Education. Action plans and regular goals will be set for either subject so progress can be seen and this will also encourage motivation. Moreover, the student will be involved with the lesson plans so they are fully engaged with their interests/target areas being explored.
