Online Maths and Physics Teacher

I have been teaching GCSE, GCE A-level pure and applied maths and further mathematics, D1, Further Core 1 and 2, FP1 and FP2, IB Higher mathematics; and GCE and IB physics over 30 years.

At the grammar schools (boys and girls grammar), I taught C1-C4, S1-S2, M1-M3, D1-D2 and FP1 - FP3, and IB Standard Higher mathematics.
I have been tutoring OU third level courses over 17 years. I teach MT365: Graphs, Networks and Design.
I have always taught mathematics full-time and A level OCR Physics during the weekends.

At the moment, I am teaching IB DP Standard and Higher mathematics as well as MYP Grade 9 and 10 mathematics at an International School as a fulltime mathematics teacher.

Tutoring Experience

I have been teaching GCSE, IGCSE, GCE A level maths and further maths as well as IB standard and higher maths for the last 38 years.

I have achieved very good results for a number of years. 6 students from the grammar schools went to Oxford and Cambridge universities to study Physics, Natural Sciences and Medicine and quite a high number of students went to Russell-Group universities.
In one year I have achieved 17 grade As in GCE A level maths.

Tutoring Approach

I use child-centred approach and differentiated with good questioning techniques. I also use variety of learning styles. I have studied extensively the neurodiversity in our schools and taught students with autism, asperger's syndrome and dyslexia. I have also worked for aa month with students at the West Kent Health Needs Education School and taught students with tendency to self-harm.
